  I took my son to Dominick's tonight to celebrate his pending college graduation and new job. Unfortunately what we found was poor quality meat and indifferent attitudes from management and staff. My son ordered the $57 12 oz filet mignon which was riddled with inedible veins of tough sinewy cartilage about halfway through. Unusual for a restaurant that hand cuts its own meat, but mistakes can happen. We let our server know and Rebecca quickly explained it was a "fat cap" and, well, the chef can't know what's inside. Would we care for a free dessert? We declined and asked to speak to the manager. He or she would not come over and instead removed a $7 beer from our tab as the remedy for an inedible steak. Beware. Drop in quality and concern are the telltale signs of a restaurant on its way out. There are several other top end steakhouses in the greater Phoenix that are still deserving of your patronage. Try one of those for your next special night out.

  Been here multiple times, unfortunately will not be back due to the new management. I came into Dominicks this past week with my family to celebrate my birthday. I ordered a steak to be medium (get medium every time) and it came to the table very rare. unsure whether or not I should send it back, I cut out a bite from the middle which was 100% red and ate it but was literally cold in the middle. I sent it back and the steak came back fine but unfortunately I had food poisoning later that night. I got a call from the hostess the next day to see how my experience was and I explained to her that I had food poisoning (something that should not be happening at a $150 per person restaurant). I never got a call from the manager or an apology for the potential causation of raw meat linked to my food poisoning happening later that evening. I called back two days later and asked to speak with the manager on duty. A man named "Jeff" answered didn't give me his last name or say he was manager, simply said "hello". When I told him what happened he tried to deny that the food poisoning was correlated. Very unprofessional and extremely disappointed that they showed no care at all and did not try to resolve the issue. I will not be coming back or recommending this establishment anymore. Try Eddie V'a much better, much nicer, and a much better experience.
