  One of the reasons I love coming here is because of the Wandering Horse restaurant where you can find great buffet food for a great price.
  Parking is free and there's covered parking. The hotel looks huge and perhaps one day I'll rent a room to see what its like to stay there. There's a huge pool that looks like fun with cabanas around the pool area which is another impetus to come here one day.
  Staff are friendly from the ones I've stopped to ask for directions to the restaurant.
  Really a great looking place with a great restaurant!

  I imagine one of the top 3 most important things for a hotel is to ensure when a customer makes an online reservation that the reservation is fulfilled accurately. My college buddies and I made a reservation at The Talking Stick 6 months ago for a suite and adjoining room. We only get together like this every 5 years or so being that we are all married with kids. Instead of getting creative and finding a way to deliver our reservation as we expected we got the "we are sorry, we made the mistake." Talking Stick, you are right you did make the mistake so fix it. Maybe ask the people in our adjoining room to move and incent them with the room credit you offered us.
  
  Went from totally excited to stay at the Talking Stick to totally deflated.
  
  It's hard to recommend a hotel that can't even get a reservation right.
  
  Totally disappointed.

  The talking stick resort is one of the nicer places in the Phoenix Area. It's the nicest casino in the area with Five Star restaurants, accommodations and conference center. I've been there for conferences which compare to some of the biggest in Vegas. Their restaurants are among the best in the valley. They have a great view of the mountains and golf courses. Their lunch buffet is very affordable and one of the best buffets in Phoenix.

  Visited talking Stick resort for the weekend lunch buffet which is priced at $15 per adult. The buffet was huge. There were stalls of Italian, Chinese, Mexican along with a huge section dedicated to variety of desserts starting from chocolate cake to tarts and pies and ending with variety of gelatos and sorbets. Even if one tasted each one item it will be enough food for the day. Also have heard a lot about the chicken fried rice but haven't had tried that one out. May be next time
