  Call me silly but this is an exciting business and a great asset to the community! If I was connected and in upper management I would have new hires have part of their training at this location if they were within a half hour drive or bus radius. I can't say there are more than a few businesses I look forward to going to. Management quality rubs off on most employees. I can approach 99% of all employees with total confidence. Obviously people make a store and most firms seem to have forgotten this. Managers of differing levels of responsibility are typically available, approachable, knowledgeable and sensibly enthusiastic. THEY COMMUNICATE. I know though experience while they are leaders, they willing learn from customer contact. Also they hope employees will grow. Prices are good as well as selection. I could say a lot more and it might be of interest but my respect and appreciation are probably already apparent

  My boyfriend and I come here nearly every weekday morning. I used to know why. It wasn't such a bad store. Now, I don't know what happened. They open late more often than not. there's a crowd of people waiting to get to shopping. If I showed up late to work as often as the people who open the store late, I'd be fired. There need to open the store on time! The store is always packed with things to be stocked but there's maybe one or two people stocking anything. So, it's hard to move around in there and feels dirty. Costco and Walmart are better than this! I keep begging my boyfriend to go to the Fry's by our house. the one on indian school and miller. It's so much better, but this one is closer to work and he drives in the morning. I hate this location.

  Good people until you get to the checkout. That's the 5 star. Produce is awesome. Butcher area has great guys. That's the 5 star. Employees yelling or badmouthing each other. I mostly hesitate when checking out. That's the no stars review.

  This place always seems super packed and hectic near the registers. Last night, just before 10 pm, they had no regular check stands open, only the self checkout. One person was running it, as usual, but a lot of people were purchasing alcohol which requires individual attention. One lady had a full cart of groceries and had to ask for a check stand to be open so she didn't have to clog the self checkout.
  But fry's overall is my preferred place to shop, and this place still hits the mark on selection, freshness of produce and bakery goods, and cleanliness.
